Monthly simple pleasures

It is not ideal to completely leave out yummy foods when your dieting or healthy eating because this causes the Yo-yo effect, after so much resistance, explosion of cravings will then arise, you then will find yourself eating high calorie snacks everyday for months.

If you can give yourself a break even for a day every month; I think you will survive.

I promised myself that every 7th of the month would be my self appreciation day, where I can reward myself with pampering and indulge with my favorite treats.

An ideal S.A. day would be going to the salon, shopping for beauty products or clothes, and topping it all with a comforting dessert.

I am writing this in to remind myself what I had that month and to avoid slips =)
